HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?
12 years to be exact! I've been shooting weddings and elopements full time now for 6 years and I love it more and more with each passing year.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
12 years to be exact! I've been shooting weddings and elopements full time for about 4 years and I love it more and more with each passing day.
I'm based out of Oakland, CA but I travel all over California and out of state for weddings. Traveling is actually one of my favorite perks about the job-the farther the better!

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
My typical turnaround time for weddings and elopements is between 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the time of year and the volume of sessions I’m working on.
This timeframe allows me to give each gallery the attention it truly deserves. I carefully hand-edit every image to ensure it reflects the best of your day and my artistic style. Quality takes time, and I never rush through the editing process-my goal is to deliver a final product that you’ll love for years to come.
I always send sneak peeks shortly after the wedding/elopement day so you won't be left waiting the full time without seeing any images! I always want you to be able to relive the magic while the full gallery is being perfected behind the scenes!

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU INCLUDE?
While each package offers a general range, I don’t believe in placing hard limits on the number of images you’ll get. As a documentary-style photographer, my focus is on telling the full story of your day - honestly, authentically, and completely.
Every wedding & elopement is unique, and so is every gallery. From the big, unforgettable moments to the quiet, candid ones, you'll receive every image that captures the true essence of your day.
I don't believe in withholding any images for profit and will always make sure you have a tough time picking what images to post because there are too many good ones!

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING/SESSION?
When you book your session or wedding, a retainer is required to secure your date. This retainer is legally non-refundable, as it not only covers the time and preparation that go into planning your session - it also ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you, meaning I turn away other inquiries for that same time.
I understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule and I’m available on your new date, I’m more than happy to accommodate. However, if I’m unavailable, the retainer remains non-refundable.
For engagement or couples sessions, there’s more flexibility when it comes to rescheduling due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. I’ll always do my best to work with you on finding a new date that works for us both.

DO YOU OFFER RAW/UNEDITED IMAGES?
The simple answer is no. I believe that any editing or altering to my images is all apart of the artistic process. I would only be giving you half of an unfinished product by sending out raw images.
07
WHAT IF YOU CAN'T SHOW UP TO OUR WEDDING?
I have to this day never missed or had to cancel a wedding or session (knock on wood). This would only happen if it were completely out of my control (act of god, illness, death). In this case, I have a line of wonderful photographers that I trust with similar shooting technique on call to to replace me and I would edit the images. I do offer a full refund if you do not feel comfortable having me choose another photographer for your wedding.

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS WORK?
To get your date in the books, I require a non-refundable retainer.
Retainers can be paid in two ways:
1.) 40% upfront and the remaining 60% can be paid up to a day prior to your wedding/session and
2.) 30% retainer upfront, 30% midway and 30% remainder up to a day prior to the wedding.
3.) 4 equal payments. The initial 25% acts as your retainer and the remaining payments are spread out evenly up to the day before your wedding
For engagement/couples sessions, there is a 50% retainer to secure the date and 50% remainder up to the day before the session
WHAT GEAR DO YOU USE?
I currently shoot with:
-Nikon Z9 Mirrorless
-Fujifilm XT50
-Nikon D850
-Nikon F5 (film)
I always bring a variety of lenses including a 35mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, and a 16-55m 2.8. I always carry lighting equipment, flashes, and backup cameras and lenses.
DO YOU OFFER SECOND SHOOTING?
I'd say about 80% of the weddings I photograph are covered entirely by me, and I have never missed a moment. I work intentionally and efficiently to make sure every important event and in-between moment is captured with care.
That said, having a second shooter can be a great addition depending on the size, flow, and details of your day. My second shooter is actually my amazing partner, Sam! We work together naturally and effortlessly. It is a true collaboration built on trust and a shared creative vision.
If you are considering a second shooter, I recommend bringing it up during our initial consultation. I will offer my honest, professional opinion based on your timeline, venue, and what will best support the experience you want.
